RCBO

An RCBO combines the functionalities of an RCD with an MCB. That is, it safeguards the circuit from earth fault, overload, and short circuit currents.

RCD

RCDs are protection devices that detect earth or leakage faults. RCDs work by measuring the amount of current going into and out of a circuit. The current supplied by the active wire should be equal to the current returning in the neutral wire in a healthy circuit.
